The Holstein Association USA, Inc., a dynamic, innovative, growing organization is seeking a talented sales professional to serve as its National Sales Manager. The Holstein Association USA, Inc. provides programs, products and services to dairy farmers to enhance genetics and improve profitability — including animal identification and ear tags, genomic testing, mating programs, dairy records processing, classification, communication, consulting services, and Holstein semen.
The National Sales Manager applies the three-stage management process of planning, implementing, and evaluating the Association’s sales force and its activities. The National Sales Manager forecasts sales, prepares sales budgets, establishes sales territories, strategically plans sales force activities, and sets individual sales representatives’ sales goals. The National Sales Manager ensures the sales force is organized, staffed, and operated so as to carry out the organization’s goals.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of successful sales experience. Sales management and dairy experience are a plus. Excellent communication and inter-personal communication skills are a must. Some travel is required and flexibility is an important part of the position.
